UP STREAM – SERICULTURE
We develop the advanced practice of organic sericulture, which involves the cultivation of silk under carefully controlled environmental conditions. Through collaboration with The Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Thailand, we transfer knowledge and technology, ensuring that farmers receive proper training. The sericulture process and cocoon products are certified in accordance with the “Thai Agricultural Standard” Tas 9000 Organic Agriculture: The Production, Processing, Labelling, and Marketing of Organically Produced Products” and “Thai Agricultural Standard Tas 8203 Organic Silk Part 1: Silk Cocoon, Silk Filament Sheet, and Silk Yarn” Standards. The organic silk cocoons produced in this process are of high quality and suitable for medical use. This innovative silk farming process is novel, quality-control, season-independent, and scalable.
MID STREAM – FIBROIN EXTRACTION
Our midstream process involves extracting silk fibroin protein, named “SilkLife”, from the cocoons. The extraction process takes place in a clean room under the GMP process, certified by ISO13485 for Medical Devices with stringent quality control. The SilkLife has passes biocompatibility testing, certified by ISO10993 standards for the biologic evaluation of medical devices, which will enable its use as a raw material in drug delivery systems.
DOWN STREAM – PRODUCTS AND SERVICE
Silklife serves as raw material for formulating various drug delivery systems tailored to specific needs.
SilkLife serves as a versatile vesicle platform, capable of combining with various drugs, cells, and molecules, resulting in enhanced therapeutic efficacy and prolonged effects.
Injectable gel for delivery of cells, PRP, drugs, or bioactive molecules.
